dear mr altmanthank you for introducing me to raymond carver, and for your beautiful bittersweet pictures. I could be sad that there will be no more films, but the ones you made are some of the greatest around.

Each day I click on your blog, and each day there is no update. I am beginning to feel like the guy who has checked the mailbox everyday for the last year to see if there´s a letter from the love of his life waiting for him, and each day he is disappointed...

I thought you´d like hearing from your fans. You remember that Eminem song "Stan" - that´s what can happen to aloof bloggers if they disregard their pests, sorry "fans" - mark my words...
